about

I am a landscape photographer who graduated From Manchester Metropolitan University doing  BA(Hons) Photography in 2020. my creative story starts when I was at St. Helens college in 2016 when I did an art and design diploma. while on this course I was drawn to photography from the start. I developed skills in darkroom and Photoshop to a basic standard. My first real inspiration was Len Grant and his book "Full time at Maines Road" with me being a big rugby fan I spent most weekend in a stadium. Seeing how having a stadium in the area impact the local community changed how I look at the stadium I attended. I looked more on the surrounding areas and business that are successful due to the stadium being there. this is something I started to document but this wasn't of my successful Projects.

Moving on from this, I then went into Landscape photography this is a style of photography I want to do as I have done this since college. I began studying around the issues of mental health and how society has changed due to social media. this Research influenced most of my project mainly "Social media bucket list" and "woodland Walks". in June 2020 one of my Woodland Walk Photographs got selected for the AOP S
